Two days rest & we're back into "light" training today (by "rest" I mean doing no training at all, but I have been exercising the liver quite well - we'll cut back on that just a little come new year)

We have a new Assistant Coach

Tom Miller was awarded his Assistant Coach certificate on 1/11/09 by Vadim Kolganov following a weekend of training.


Improving yourself

I started writing a blog entry on trying too hard & how you can reach plateaus in your training, and I realised I had done one very similar previously.


Working the guard game

Everything is now sorted for the weekend session with Vadim on Halloween. Flights booked, times & venues sorted etc so now to start pushing everyone to attend & do some advertising.


Gradings & Competitions

We’ve had a good busy couple of weeks recently. We entered a team of guys into the welsh amateur grapple & strike league, which was the first MMA experience for most of them.
